QUESTION #20 -- EARLY MORMON HISTORY QUIZ

Correct.

The name "Church of Christ" was noted in the minutes title of the Conference of the Elders of the "Church of Christ" (empahsis added). Interestingly enough, in the same minutes the church name was changed, " that this Church be known hereafter by the name "The Church of Latter-day Saints." (History of the Church, vol. 2, pg. 63.) Note that the words "Jesus Christ" are not in this version of the church name. The name of the church was again later changed to the name it has now, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints".
